Doing some work!

Our guys monthly help with various things for the Veterans/patients at the Topeka Campus of the Eastern Kansas Health Care System. Just this past May we've donated crafted decorations to them for Memorial day and we'll continue to provide great, time crafted, and thoughtful items to them monthly for the great veterans that have provided great service to our nation.

Thanks for giving us this opportunity to do this. It is our great pleasure to provide these things for you all.

HALO(™) program is now underway

COF has launched HALO™, allowing people we serve to live heathier lives while providing the proper accommodations and supports to allow them to be employed in the least restrictive manner possible.

Featured COF Artists at the Old 75 Art Gallery!

COF Artists will be featured in Old 75 Art Gallery on May 6th 5-7pm in Burlington. COF has its own wall where art work is displayed. Jim Stuckey will talk about each piece/artist personally at this event.

Snacks will be provided for the event!

COF B Smokin BBQ Team at it again with their 2nd competition!

Last Satarday the elite team of Smoking Wanderers went out to compete in another competition held by the good guys at SmokedCreations.

The competition was in good spirits to push all proceeds to benefit Communities In Schools of Ottawa.

It was a great day for our guys and we'd like to thank all of the support we were given during the event. Thanks so much!

One of our own presented with a certificate for Employee of the Year

Volunteer work at Old 75 Art Gallery

Every Thursday a group of COF volunteers work the gallery there in Burlington. They talk about their pieces of art on the wall along with the others.

We also have set a date on May 6th from 4-6 pm to have an "Artistist Reception" for our COF Artists. This will allow local and area residents to meet our clients that are displaying their artwork on the wall in the gallery on going that starting this month.

You can find them at:

A Letter of Thanks from VA Medical Center in Topeka KS

Our guys got together to create handmade Valentines to the great staff, veterans, and patients at the Topeka campus of Eastern Kansas Health Care. In-turn they sent us a lovely letter of their graciousness and thanks for our efforts.

It doesn't stop there as we are also creating Shamrocks for the month of March and creating "God Bless America" signs to be sent on Memorial Day for them.

The volunteerism is strong at COF, and only continues to get stronger!

Quality of Life Day Services Volunteers at Prairie Paws Animal Shelter

The Quality of Life Day Service Program volunteers go to Prairie Paws Animal Shelter to rehabilitate animals on a weekly basis by giving them attention and love. The animals are given the love and human contact that they need so that they can be adopted.

The pictures were taken by Jeanette Norton, mother of Tricia Nelson, who also comes to spend time with her daughter.  Special thanks to Tricia’s mom for the great pictures.
