Golf Tourney Weather Update

Rock Creek Country Club Golf Course officials have not yet made a determination as to whether the tournament will go on as scheduled today. We are waiting for a decision and will post it here as soon as possible. The tournament may be delayed or re-scheduled. More news soon. Thank you for your patience.

Golf Tournament Full!

The COF golf tournament is full----18 teams have registered to play in the 3rd Annual Friends of COF Benefit Golf Tournament Saturday, June 7 in Burlington, KS.  The tournament will begin at 9:00 AM with a shotgun start at Rock Creek Country Club at 304 N. 16th Street in Burlington. Golfers may check in at the COF registration table at the CLub beginning at 8:15 AM Saturday. Weather or Rain delays will be announced on the COF website beginning at 6:00 AM Saturday June 7. Here's to Sunny Days!

David Bowlby was honored at the annual Fr. Co. Cancer Foundations "On The Move for Cancer" 5K on Sat.

COF individuals honored at Volunteer luncheon

At the Annual Volunteer Luncheon on April 26, 2013, COF individuals were presented volunteer pins and recognized for their work in sorting commodities for ECKAN.  Janice Kraft of Ottawa Volunteer Center stated:  "Your gang was a terrific help today at the luncheon.  It's a pleasure to spend time with them... Thank you SO MUCH!"

Senator Jerry Moran visits Ottawa Campus

On April 4, 2013, Senator Jerry Moran visited the Ottawa Campus.  During his visit he had a brief tour, received a pencil drawing from a client and visited with Board members and Friends of COF members.  Steven Terry presented the Senator with a pencil drawing of trees.  See us on Senator Moran's Facebook page

COF receives grants from FHLBank Topeka

COF has received six grants from the FHLBank Topeka for needed improvements on all residences. Those improvements include sprinkler systems, upgrade of appliances, new flooring, some roofs, parking lots/driveways and painting. These improvements will start the first of December 2012 and continue through spring 2013.

At the Old Marais River Run, COF worked two blockades along the Saturday night cruise.
