In the short time Kursten has been with COF, her dedication, compassion, and work ethic have already set a remarkably high bar. She jumps in without hesitation, takes initiative, and shows up for both staff and the individuals we serve.

Adam has stepped up in a big way, taking on every maintenance task thrown his way and consistently supporting the people around him. He’s always looking for small but meaningful ways to show he cares, even if it’s just a quick check-in.

Serving as a teacher for 23 years, I was able to see firsthand the need for every person to feel they have a purpose, and the freedom to do things within the community they live in, regardless of age or ability.
